Ken and the original truck in 1973
Ken Meyer, formerly a construction framer, sees a need in the industry for a dependable insulation provider and starts Okanagan Insulation Services with a small loan for a truck and an order of insulation.
It started more than 50 years ago. Ken Meyer knew that he and his family, along with a talented and friendly crew, could make a difference to their community neighbours. Starting small and growing with experience and innovation, Okanagan Insulation has cemented their place as an industry leader across the Okanagan.
Too many to count now; from single-family homes to wineries, hotels, and award-winning multi-million-dollar projects, OKI continues to build on their reputation of honest estimates, dependable services, and fair prices.
At the heart of Okanagan Insulation are the people who look forward to helping their customers every day. The crew seamlessly works together and contributes to not only the success of their insulation company, but to the long list of happy customers.
An estimator meeting you at home, the crew showing up ready for work on a job site, the familiar OKI vehicles driving the streets—Okanagan Insulation has never taken for granted their role in the community. And all of us look forward to continuing to be a trustworthy local company that is deeply invested in the success and growth of it.
