South Okanagan

The interior desert is one of the most known for its robust wines and stone fruits. We can thank the sun for being the most powerful in this region. Homeowners in the South Okanagan will need to focus on insulating attic spaces or the underside of roofs. Spray foam insulation and fibreglass batt insulation will also effectively cool the house.

Insulation is measured in R-values per inch of thickness, which helps to determine how well insulation can keep heat from leaving or entering your home. The average R-value for this desert region is between R30 and R60 to help keep the hot air from entering through the roof and attic space.

Okanagan Insulation Services is proud to have served the BC interior for over 40 years. Give us a call to discuss insulation rebates to update your home.
